The cultivar is very common upon the hills of Pescara and Chieti, pretty widespread in Montesilvano, Elice, Bucchianico e Francavilla al Mare.
Vigorous tree, good yield but changeable. Trees tend to fruit drop before harvesting.
Good extraction yield (15/17%), easy extraction processing. Oil is fruity, herbaceous with green tomato notes.
Ripening: premature and gradual.
The tree has a vast crown with short internodes.
The leaves are opaque dark green with arching layer.
The stone fruit is large ( < 3,3 gr) and ovoid shape, short peduncle , no separation resistant. The color of the drupe is yellow and turn purple to red-purple.
